A new challenger has emerged!

Barely a month since MC Heunis won the coveted title of the most fanatical True Believer of them all (https://www.chrisash.co.za/2025/01/25/true-believer-world-championships/) a new challenger for the crown has emerged.

A clown called Rudie Rousseau has thrown his hat into the ring, vandalising monuments with nonsense propaganda, and spewing out a truly lunatic manifesto of self-pitying rubbish on Facebook. Such is Rousseau’s sheer crayon-eating insanity, that he has surpassed even ‘the MC’ – and that really is saying something.

So we can all enjoy a good laugh, here are a few of Rousseau’s offerings. First off, he posted this utter rubbish (which has been translated into English), attempting to justify vandalising the monuments on Surrender Hill, pretending that the Concentration Camps were ‘murder camps’, and claiming that his DNA is ‘Boer’:

There is a story that they were paid 8000 pounds by Genl Hurter to persuade the Boers to surrender there. There are too many details I can’t share everything with you.

The owner of the land gave me permission to paint the monuments and put the real reason on them. If I’m right, his grandfather and father erected the monument there. So I didn’t take it into my own hands to do it. Those who complained, why didn’t you do anything except be uninformed and slander their name?

I don’t know any of the other people whose names appear here. It would have been reprehensible to threaten any person. They are also false lies. I got Springfontein’s evidence through very good research to Unisa. A very well-known Prof falsely accused the missionary in 2 books of sending 37 babies to Hell. I have all the evidence.

The betrayal of 3 personnel towards Elria Wessels who worked at the Women’s Monument for 33 years is shameful. She told me on camera that those 37 babies were the Fruit of Rape committed by the white and black British on Boer women and girls. It is contained in the Klasie Havenga dossier of which I have in my possession 287 handwritten rape statements committed by the British.

It is shameful to accuse me of lying. Why from 1913 does the Women’s Monument lie about the real number of which they say only 26 000 Boer women and children died in the 146 British murder camps where they refuse to accept Celeste Reynolds’ 5 year-long research with evidence of which I have the book with 34 000 names? There is only one reason the British pay these treacherous Afrikaners to.be silent about the truth.

If I am so angry go file a case take me to court but bring your evidence. I don’t need to lie. I am a Boer not an Afrikaner.

Invite me, I am willing to confront whoever has accused me of the many lies that we can talk the matter out. I bring my evidence with me. I am not someone who would assault anyone as alleged here. But rest assured, as a Boer, I refuse to lie about the Genocide that the British committed here.

Of course, correcting one so ignorant and stupid is like shooting fish in a barrel, as Anthony Scott quickly proved:

Caught lying and pushing propaganda about ‘murder camps’, Rousseau then desperately attempted to set up a strawman, by pretending Mr Scott referred to the camps as ‘holiday camps’… a pathetic attempt by an idiot, and one which Mr Scott quickly shattered:

His extremist insanity was then taken to task by the formidable Rosemary Montgomery:

When challenged over the vandalising of monuments to push his make-belief version of events, Rousseau proudly admitted to doing this, and then pretended to have proof that General Hunter happened to be carrying £8000 with him:

What is most remarkable of all is that someone ‘liked’ this post – so it appears that there is someone walking around out there, even more stupid than Rousseau.

Rousseau didn’t feel the need to share the ‘proof’ of his wild claims with anyone – apparently we simply have to accept his word for his fantasies. Rousseau appears unaware of the fact that De Wet had run away and left Prinsloo completely surrounded in the Brandwater Basin – quite why he thinks the British would thus need to bribe him to surrender is unclear.

It was then pointed out that vandalising monuments is completely unacceptable:

So there we have it – there’s a new sheriff in town, the bar has been set very high, and the rest of the True Believers really have to up their game if they want to compete with this buffoon. Simply making the usual boring and baseless statements on Facebook about ‘defensive invasions’ and ‘genocide’ will no longer be enough to get close to the title of most fanatical True Believer.

Now, they will have to outdo an idiot so fanatical that he defaces and vandalises monuments.
